The English website of the Chahar Institute is officially launched on Jan. 1, 2016.

The Charhar Institute, a non-governmental think tank, launched its English website on Jan. 1, 2016, in what Dr. Han Fangming, its founding chairman, said will "introduce exclusive and in-depth analysis on foreign policies and opinions on international affairs."

As the first of its kind, the English version website is presented by China.org.cn, a multi-language news portal, and has instantly drawn a global-based audience after its trial run three months ago.

"We are committed to the principle of objectivity and independence, and constantly update opinions of our fellow researchers bilingually," said Ke Yinbin, secretary-general of the institute.

Dr. Han hopes this English platform can facilitate exchange among think tanks and the media worldwide.

The Charhar Institute, founded in 2009, is a non-governmental and non-partisan think tank aimed at providing an exchange platform for the government, research institutes, enterprises and the general public, as well as to facilitate international cooperation on political, economic and social issues.
